The Lighea Zibibbo Sicilia by Donnafugata is produced from 100% Zibibbo grapes, also known as Moscato di Alessandria, cultivated on the wonderful island of Pantelleria. The vineyard of origin develops on terraces, rooting in sandy soils of volcanic origin. The vines are grown here "ad alberello pantesco," a practice declared UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage. The harvest took place between the second half of August and the second half of September, with a yield of 50-60 quintals per hectare. In the winery, alcoholic fermentation occurred in stainless steel at a temperature of 14-16°C. The aging lasted for 3 months in stainless steel.

The Lighea Zibibbo Sicilia by Donnafugata presents a straw yellow color with greenish reflections. On the nose, it opens with intense aromas of exotic yellow fruit followed by hints of orange blossom, cedar, and bergamot. On the palate, the fruity and floral sensations return, enhanced by a vibrant mineral freshness. It pairs perfectly with vegetarian dishes and delicious seafood recipes.
