Kofererhof's Riesling R was produced from 100% Riesling Renano grapes harvested partly when ripe. The Guyot-trained vineyards of origin insist on lands of morainic origin characterized by the presence of gravel, sand and silt at an altitude of approximately 700 meters above sea level. The white vinification - i.e. carried out without stopping the must on the skins - took place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature. The refinement lasted 6 months in stainless steel barrels in contact with the yeasts. Riesling Renano is a vine originating from Germany which stands out for its particular resistance to cold temperatures, which is why in Italy we find it cultivated near the Alps. It also gives life to particularly long-lived whites.

The Koferehof Riesling R reveals a straw yellow color with greenish reflections. On the nose it offers aromas of yellow pulp fruit and wild flowers that chase hints of aromatic herbs and citrus notes of grapefruit. The sip is decidedly fresh and has a vertical minerality that persists in the fruity and citrus finish. At the table it goes well with cheeses and vegetarian dishes as well as tasty fish recipes. Also excellent in combination with white meats.
