The Bolgheri Superiore Argentiera from Tenuta Argentiera is born from a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (50%), Merlot (40%), and Cabernet Franc (10%) coming from the most suitable parcels of the estate, located at an altitude between 180 and 200 meters above sea level. After manual harvesting, the grapes were transported to the winery for separate vinification. The alcoholic fermentation, with maceration of the must on the skins, took place in stainless steel tanks at temperatures not exceeding 28-30°C for 25-30 days. The aging occurred for 14 months in French oak barriques, 50% of which were new. Once the blending was done, the wine rested for 12 months in bottle.

The Bolgheri Superiore Argentiera from Tenuta Argentiera presents itself to the eye with an intense ruby red color. On the nose, it exudes aromas of plum and ripe red berries that meet hints of violet and notes of dark spices. The olfactory profile is enriched by references to underbrush and Mediterranean herbs. The sip is rich and elegant, exalted by a silky tannic structure and a long fruity and balsamic finish. Excellent paired with succulent land dishes, especially those based on red meats or game.
