For Dr. Hauschka Rose Nurturing Body Oil, we use both an oil extract and essential oil from organically grown rose petals.

In synergy, the precious essential rose oil and jojoba oil, which helps the skin retain its hydration, create a balancing and harmonizing treatment oil that makes the skin soft and elastic and provides comfort in situations of emotional stress. The composition is obtained by combining the buds of the precious damask rose with cold-pressed organic sunflower oil, allowing them to mature for a week at the end of a particular rhythmic process. The mixture is then brought to a temperature of 37°C, the same as the human body, and carefully blended both morning and evening. In this way, all the balancing virtues of the rose are transmitted to the oil. The treatment oil spreads more evenly on damp skin. Thus, the water-in-oil emulsion that derives from it is absorbed by the skin more easily, without drying it out.
