Angheli Sicilia DOC 2021 by Donnafugata is a wine that best represents the viticultural excellence of Sicily. Produced by the renowned Donnafugata estate, this wine is a blend of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, two international varieties that find an ideal terroir in Sicily to express their full potential. The grapes come from vineyards located at an altitude of about 200-600 meters above sea level, characterized by soils rich in limestone and clay, which give the wine extraordinary complexity and structure. The winemaking process involves controlled temperature fermentation and aging for about 12 months in French oak barriques, followed by an additional aging period in the bottle. This meticulous production approach ensures that each bottle of Angheli best expresses the varietal and territorial characteristics of the grapes used.

With an intense ruby red color, Angheli 2021 displays a fragrant bouquet of red fruit (plum and cherry) combined with elegant menthol notes, sweet cocoa, and Eastern spices.
